The Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship

The Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship provides educators with tested and
proven techniques that are effective both in and out of the classroom. Led by a team of
international experts and educators, the Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship is a
“must attend” for anyone in the field of entrepreneurship education.
Program Outcomes:

Program Overview:
Entrepreneurship is a powerful approach in enhancing access to
economic empowerment and leads to redistribution of wealth, poverty alleviation, self-reliance,
and grass roots economic growth.
With the demands of today’s fast changing economic environment, an entrepreneurial
mindset is critical to leadership, innovation, creativity and productivity in both business
and government.
Education is the foundation for any cultural shift and educators are on the front
lines, teaching and developing the people who will take knowledge and experience and
transform it into action.
Educators need the training and tools to effectively facilitate entrepreneurial learning
and develop entrepreneurial attitudes.
Our Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship is filled with a comprehensive overview of
entrepreneurship and enterprise education in today's world. The Institute is an action oriented
program, that involves the participant in the activities of running a business, being
and entrepreneur, and integrates this into the teaching methodology of today’s classroom.
Based on best practices from around the world, this event will prepare the participant for
teaching entrepreneurship and enterprise, developing curriculum for the classroom, and
being an advocate for entrepreneurship in their community.
Target Audience: Educators who want to teach entrepreneurship or infuse entrepreneurship
and enterprise into their classroom activities.
Prerequisites: Admission based on experience, education and/or work experience.
Timeframe: 3 to 5 days depending on requirements of
participants
