Horizons is a program to help men and women who are incarcerated
find a better way to reintegrate into society upon their release. It
uses entrepreneurship as the vehicle for learning and as its primary
outcome, and is based on the belief that inmates possess many
entrepreneurial attitudes and characteristics. It is designed for
people who have committed economic crimes, and it has been
successful as well for inmates who have committed more serious
crimes involving violence.
