Entrepreneurship in Madeira

Madeira Islands, Portugal

CG International worked on the Madeira Islands of Grand Madeira and Porto Santo at the request of the Madeira Enterprises and Innovation Centre - CEIM.

We did three pieces of work, some of them multiple times

First we developed the curriculum for the program called RS4E (Road Show for Entrepreneurship). This program consisted of modules that were taught in the classroom over 6 classes, including a practicum where students ran their own business for a half day. With this curriculum there was also a business plan competition and The Entrepreneurial Olympics. The program was well received by students, educators and the business community, as well as the government of Madeira

Second we ran an Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship (ITE). We have run this four times for teachers through out the island group. For more information on The Institute for Teaching Entrepreneurship please click here.
